It's Panto time...oh no it isn't..

There wasn't any open auditions for the town pantomime so im really pleased to be in the school one, it's Jack & the Beanstalk and i'm...well...i'm gonna be awewsome!

I'm really happy as it has a comedy element and my inspiration is Lady C from I'm a Celebrity, mum and dad made my costume - they really enjoy making things for my shows. Dad has made full sized Roman sheilds, a roman sword and an awesome shotgun out of cardboard, tubes and a hot glue gun - that was for the Mr Fox acting in the Summer at Staveley.

It was my parents evening at school today...everyone said i was just amazing ;-) My music teacher got to my weak point (mum) and asked her if i could fit choir in on a tuesday before ballet. She has been asking me every week - at least its not at lunch. And my PE teacher wants me to join the sports team netball, i dont think so, i would do a trampoline team, I love trampolining.

Mum finally told my director of learning about the tv programme i filmed for. I havent told anyone because it would be really embarrassing if i told people and they watched it and i wasnt in it or just my foot was in it. Once i have seen myself in it, then i will tell people.

We have a day of rehersal on friday and again tuesday and we perform on tuesday & wednesday. I know my parents are really looking forward to it...not!

It's looking a lot like Christmas...

So my time has flown and i haven't been on here to say about all the amazing things i've been doing! I will try and put as much down as i can remember...

Firstly, my main thing is I started a new school. I really like my new school and am already involved in the school pantomime - Jack n The Beanstalk - I am going to be the Harp which has a lot of comedy elements to it. Mum has made me a costume as the school says it hasn't  much money, mum doesn't mind as she likes making things like costumes!

Staveley Theatre Academy:

On Friday night, Gemma from Staveley, asked me to perform at the Hertford Light Switch On, I felt very honored and sung Ring of Keys from Fun Home, the new musical in America. We also sung Let It Go from Frozen and i could hear my mum singing her head off...ha ha ha

Here's us all on the stage, im 2nd from right

Here is a link to the performance, Sophia is the girl i sang the duet with. https://t.co/v35llRNBXR

On Sunday 22nd November the Staveley Theatre Academy (both Hitchin & the advanced academy of older ones at Hertford) went to the Actors Church in Covent Garden, London and we performed all our songs & dances. There were 9 West End stars with us, Oliver Martin (Fiyero in Wicked) was there with Julie Stokes from We Will Rock You and many more.

Here i am singing Ring of Keys

Daisy & Dukes:

I have had some really good castings with my agent, after one self-tape for the BBC, I was chosen to be the main characters friend along with three other girls. We had to get up mega early and travel to Guildford in Surrey. Mum took me one day, Sadie's mum took me the 2nd day and dad took me the third day. It was GREAT!! We met all the actors and they were really nice, I tried to teach one of the men the basics of ballet ha ha the food was really good too.

The show is going to be on at Xmas, it will be on BBC and i think it may be on Xmas Eve...I will try to update as soon as i know.

Hitchin Young Thespians Theatre:

I auditioned with Hitchin Young Thespians again this year for Honk Junior! and I really wanted to be the Cat but i got Maureen the Moorhen - this one is a comedy one, and im going for an Essex accent babez..ha ha.

Case Files - Tricell Films:

During the half term, I went to the Midlands to see my brother, stay at my aunties house and then spent a day in a sports field playing Jessica Mason, a young girl whose family has been killed by zombies!! I really enjoyed getting into character, it helped that i have been reading Skulduggery Pleasant so i used Valkrye Cain as my influence. It was a long day and i didn't get to say all my lines - but then i was supposed to end up dead too and that didn't happen either, there were hundreds of zombie extras, i cant wait to film again.

I really hope there are more things for me to do soon, i really enjoy acting and cant wait to get into script reading! Apart from panto, my diary is clear (until February) so please feel free to contact me!!

Summer Time and the Weather is....awful

Wow its been a while since i last posted and I have been b-u-s-y!!

One of the more exciting projects was that I had to go to a costume fitting for the BBC Childrens programme Hetty Feather. The down part of this was that it was cancelled and the dates they then offered i was on holiday :-( still, i wasn't going to not go on holiday as it was my first time abroad!

My family & I had a lovely rest and I got even more confident with my swimming and am now happy to go under water and can swim quite far under there too, i loved it!! I also loved the entertainment gang and got dragged up with the little kids to walk around singing Chi Chi Whah, a spanish kids song which was really funny.

They also had a Karaoke night, I went up and sung "Somewhere out There" and also "I Dreamed a Dream"...and yes, i totally SMASHED it!! The professional singer came up to me and said i had to work on my breathing to enable me to stretch out to the end, which i will be doing with Staveley, so happy :-)

I did sneek in another quick job before i went on hols and that was an extra job for a feature film. Dad had to take me really early in the morning into London. I had a fab time!

I am considering changing my hairstyle to include a long, side fringe, but not sure, we keep umming and ahhhing.

I also had to go to the DEMON DENTISTS! they took 5 of my baby teeth out...when i got home, mum got a text from Tara at Daisy & Dukes to say i had a casting for a Toothpaste commercial the next day, ha ha i couldnt go obvs as now had gaps - still i hope my big teeth hurry up and grow through, tho i may have to have a brace.

Plans for the future & things i missed out since last blogged...
1) Back to the fabulous Staveley Theatre Academy - great things ahead ;-)
2) I got through to perform with Rare Productions in Annie but chose not to as it was ensemble and I really have lots going on from september so thought it best to leave it.
3) Hitchin Thespians are planning on doing Honk! I have a few roles i would like to try for...meow..haha
4) I am going to try Ballet, mum says im like a baby elephant so it may help me be a bit more delicate..haha
5) starting my brand new secondary school, looking forward to this and all the arts things i can do.
6)have an audition for a horror on Friday, fingers x!

It's been a while since i had to learn a script and whilst im loving my holibobs i want to do some wooorrrkkkkk! Keeping positive!

I was playing Ella Cook and had to be severely disabled. With my mum & dad we were waiting to have an operation.

It was really warm & i had to snuggle under a blanket and my screen mum - Zousa & dad - Tommy, were really good! There was loads of goodies to eat in the green room and i had a great time.

Picking up!

Just when you feel you've been forgotton the crazy wheel turns again.

Such a busy couple of weeks. Thanks to Daisy & Dukes I've had three huge castings! No recalls (yet!!) but I'm always full of hope.

The last one was back at Red Brick studios where ive been before. Poor mum got totally soaked on the walk back to kings x to then we had to wait for an hour as all trains delayed! But we got to go to Hotel Chocolat so all was good 😀

I've got a training video to film and another casting for a music video, I was offered a TFP during half-term but have had to decline. Mum has been busy getting these for me, they are great for me and building my experience even if they won't help me buy a kitten 😺

Lots of briefs out there so hoping one is just for me.

Loving my Staveley Saturdays and   really enjoying  Hitchin Thespians as we work towards our Rainbow Connections performance 🌈

Skype Interview

Had my first Skype interview on Saturday for a student film. We would of driven an 1 hour and 20minutes to get to the Royal Holloway University but the director said we could do it this way.

I didnt get the part which was ok. I am too tall and older looking.

On Monday we went to the seaside in Essex babez ha ha it was really nice to have the family and aggie together out.

I have had to self tape today which is good as it came from my agent Daisy and Dukes. I know lots of girls who have been asked to tape so its a big search but you gotta be in it to win it boom

It was good to hear from Tara and i hope i hear again soon.

Happy Easter - Saturday

Had pancakes for breakfast and my aunty Cher and my cuzs came over. Then we had to go to Croydon to film a reconstruction of an old mobile phone advert. The actual one had Molly in it :-) i kept scaring the guys which made me laugh. Daisy the other actor in it had to scream and it was really good it was so hard not to move when she did it. When i wasnt needed i sat in the car with phoebe the make up artist and we played Crossy which was fun. When i had to go to the toilet i think i frightend some people ha ha. It was cold & Phoebe got me Hot chocolate which was lovely and warmed me up.

Got a lovely saisage roll from the cornish pastry company at Victoria - yum yum

I had a fun day today i cant wait to see it.

Here i am...

And from a camera shot from Sinatra Bros & Co:

Its pretty cool really 😱

Happy Easter - Thursday

Was so tired this morning, its my first day off school for Easter. But we had s busy day ahead with 2 photoshoots.

We went to the station and mum got her costa then we went on the train. Mum picked the 2 train as she thought it wouldnt be busy and it was a slow one, mum was a but stressed. We got on the underground and it went all through london, we had to make a change to het to Richmond Park. We had to get a black taxi to the park :-)

We met Rebecca at the park gate and walked through the park, it was like Knebworth Park and had deers. I had some headshots then i put on a long skirt and a crown and held a birdcage i enjoyed it and Rebecca was really nice and made me feel very special. I then put on a top hat which i really liked, mum & Rebecca have the same one.
I got to look through a telescope over London.

Here is me with Rebecca Challis

http://www.rebeccachallisphotography.co.uk

Rebecca took us to train station and the trains are the fun ones with the wiggly bit in the middle - i like to surf in both carriages. We went to the next one & had a mcdonalds and i changed clothes, thrn we went to starbucks and i had a hoc chocolate.

We walked down Portobello road with lots of little shops and saw the shop from Paddington but we coudnt go in as had to meet Danielle. Mum wasnt sure where we had to go but we were ok & Danielle met us and took us to some alleyways where we had some headshots and Danielle helped me with my jacket and told me how to stand and stuff.

A behind the scenes of me and Danielle Owen.

Spring has Sprung!

So we had a totally great day with Gemma at Staveley on Saturday, I got up early and made everyone some yummy lemon cakes and we showed all the parents some of what we've been working on this term.

Our group got to sing "Somewhere, out there" and "Castle on a Cloud" and we did the "Duloc" song & dance from Shrek the Musical, which was funny :-) - keep off the grass, wipe your....face! and a dance at the end which i got really stressed about last week, but then i was a bit ill, i got it ok this time boom!

Gemma told our parents of the exciting news in November. On our way home from Hitchin mum just started screaming and was well excited about it - i think it will be brilliant!

Today I went back to Hitchin Thespians, it was lovely to see everyone again after the break and we are straight into our next performance which will be called Rainbow Connections. I put down that I would be happy to do solo work and got the chorus of True Colours, which the mums & dads will know as its an old 80s song i think.

I got a CD and a DVD of our show Olivia! The cd has loads of lovely pictures on it of the whole gang, but i cant put them on here as i haven't asked anyone, but i can put a couple where you can only see me.

Want to add that i got my headshots back from Craig really quickly, they came out really nice - and dont really show HOW COLD it was!!

Here are a couple of pics from that shoot.

New Headshots

Went to St Albans today for photos for my new agency.

It was very cold and i wore a variety of clothes. The weather kept changing from cold & grey to cold & sunny and the wind was cold.

It was in Verumula Park and we used trees as background too. Dad helped the photographer called Craig Topham with the screen. I had a great time and mum kept being silly and making me laugh.

Heres a couple of behind the scenes pics
After we went into a building and saw a real Roman mosaic floor and how they kept warm with heating under the ground.

Now i am 11

So ive now had my birthday and im 11.

My last weekend of being 10 was AWESOME!!

On Thursday was World Book Day and i went as Ts Eliots Mr Mistofolees!!

On Friday night i went to dads Archery place for my first night to get my certificate.

On Saturday I went to Staveley and met Kerry Ellis - no lie!

Here i am next to her with everyone from Staveley - huge thanks to Gemma

On Sunday i went to Wembley to film as Lisa in a short film called Lisa Meatballs. It was directed by Mario Andrasini who was really nice and made us feel very welcome. We did an outside shoot then we had lunch and then make up. I had lots of make up on me and it was good and then i had to have some latex on me - and i didn't really like it, it got tight as it dried and i felt it pulling my skin. But it did look good and wasnt on for too long.  I had to be filmed in a funny place but im not going to say where...

Tomorrow im going to have my pics taken by Craig Topham i think were going outside so they will be nice.

February rolls away...

Had 4 shows on Thursday, Friday and 2 on saturday of Olivia!.  On the second show, a lady spoke to me & said id done really well and that some actors only use their body to act but i use my facial expressions really well and that ill be a great  actress one day!  That was so nice to hear :-)

Mum, Dad and Liam came to see me on the last show. Liam had to sit on his own right at the back. They loved it and said everyone had worked really hard, there was lots of costume change and lots of running around as we all had at least 3 roles, but it was good. Lots of singing. Dad said some people were talking about me when he was outside :-)

This picture was by someones mum:

I played Doris the victorian flower seller, orphan and poor child. I loved my costume.

Here i am just to the left in the red skirt.

We have gone back to school now and its all about the sats which mum says is not the most important thing and im to do my best, but they want us to do early morning classes.

I'm back to Staveley tomorrow and i cant wait. something WELL EXCITING is happening next week :-)  Here's a link to us guys in Hitchin town square on valentines day. I got to sing too!

https://t.co/ogaLMmQhzA

I got the part in a short film - it will be fun i think. I also got an audition for a TV advert on Sunday. Fingers x for me. I'm not going to audition for Fame though with Rare, i think it will be for the older kids. Maybe next time.

On Sunday I will officially be represented by Michelle at Daisy & Dukes. Exciting times x

Half Term - update.

Audition for Charlottes Web at GCT was good as Molly P was there and her little sister auditioned too. I wish we had all got in, but not me this time. :-(

I was also supposed to have an urban photoshoot on Saturday but i chose to sing in Hitchin Town Square with my Theatre School, Staveley. It went really well and everyone really enjoyed it. I sung Castle on a Cloud, with a microphone in a stand in front of me. I've never done that before and just used taped mini mics. Mum was really proud and liam came and watched me too he said i was awesome.

Mum changed my shoot to Monday but Rebecca had to cancel so I don't know when its going to happen now, hopefully when its not raining.

I'm rehearsing for Olivia which begins on Thursday. We had our first dress rehearsal yesterday and tonight its technical and i think it may be recorded. My skirt was very long so i brought it home for mum to take up.

I've had a great first day of the holidays, i've done some felting and made an ocotpus and then lego'd a castle and horses and then i made biscuits with Liam.

I'm not with Bonnie and Betty any more. They were lovely people though and i think mum is still not sure if we did the right thing but im cool with it. I had the one film job at the beginning and then just castings and i know its tough to even get asked to go along, but i really wanted to do some acting in front of a camera.

I'm going to enjoy doing Olivia and have a little rest.....maybe ;-)

Frosty February ❄️

After being ill for ages - i actually had flu, real flu! It lasted for weeks and
Now  im getting  more lively.

Last week i had an audition for a student short, they saw my profile in www.kidsccp.co.uk and messaged mum. We had to go near British Museum and we went in but we only had 20 mins to waste and it was boring & we didnt see much.

I didn't get the part. But mum said it didnt matter coz we got something better and that was knowing that mums school will support me by letting mum have time off with me if we ever need it. I thank Miraz and will definitely remember him if i ever get an Oscar 😄🌟👏

Outside the Britsh Museum - Roar!

I am going to Staveley Theatre Academy (facebook) on Saturdays in Hitchin with the wonderful Gemma O'Duffy. I started singing lessons with her and then to an audition workshop which was brilliant. Weve done Wicked, Les Mia and this week was Matilda with Charlotte Scott- it was brilliant!!! It's more musicaltheatre singing & acting - not too much of dancing so im happy & making friends already.

Here i am looking a bit goony.

We are now rehearsing long  hours For Olivia! But its good fun and im looking forward  to performing it. Ill be on during half term not sure where, could be woodside hall or queen mother theatre.

I had to self-tape for a CBBC show but i don't think it was even looked at which was harsh i think. Mum was not happy.

Still, im auditioing for the Gordan Craigs Easter show tomorrow. It's  Charlottes Web with Catherine Lomax again so it will be really good fun. Ill do my best & hope!

January 2015

I'm gonna be a BoBe girl for another year! Mum got a email from Gem - she is happy too.

Ive been ill and couldn't go to my firstsinging  lesson with Gemma O'Duffy and ive missed drama club although  today we got the picture of elsa that agency gemma drew. Its lovely and i want it to go up in my room. It made me a bit happy from feeling horrible.

Mum got an email from a photographer who is going to shoot me - one where im not in studios. This will be good fun i think. Also got to self tape this weekend, its a bit mad when we do this but itsreally  worth it. Mum said shes just proud ive been asked to do it in the first place. It will get me in front of casting people even if not right for this.

Mum has also put a Faby&Carlo print forward to Starbound Magazine - online mag. Its on their facebook page which is lovely.

I hope to audition for GCTs Easter Show Charlottes Web, i loved the show last year and  still sing the songs.

Started off really well this year thanks to my mum for all her hard work, i wuv u xx
