BBC Casting & Midsummers Night Dream

On Saturday Mum & I jumped on a train to London as I received a call back from the casting in the week.

It was the first time I've ever been held up  on a train and mum got really worried we would be late. The train took over an hour when normally it only takes 25mins.

We got our at Finsbury Park and run to the underground. Went on Picadilly line all the way to Hammersmithq then ran for another train to goldhawke Road which is where the casting was.

There were a few people waiting and after a moment I went in. I enjoyed pretending to be Sam and really hoped I would get the part so I could hold a chameleon!!

Next we went to the Noël Coward Theatre to see a Midsummers Night Dream with David Walliams. It was hard to understand the language but I do know the story which was very funny.

I even got to meet David at the end!!

Emil Dale School of Performing Arts - EDSA

During the week mum got an email to say I was suitable for EDSA and I was welcome to join them on Sunday 13th. Which I did.

I'm really happy at the school where they are teaching me singing, dancing & acting. Our dance teacher says he wants perfection and I'm pleased because he has very high expectations of us and we should be reaching for perfection!

Thanks Emil & team, can't wait to see you on Sunday!

EDSA

Sunday 10 - 13:30

Today I spent time at EDSA, which is a performing arts school. I got to go in Green group with kids my own age and we went to a singing lesson. It was so brilliant, the teacher could really sing and he sang a song from Les Miserable. He then told us how to sing the song. When he asked if anyone would like to sing solo, I put my hand up and sung "I dreamed a dream".

I then had dancing, singing and acting classes. It was a bit different from what I am used to but I really, really enjoyed it.

We have to wait and see whether they think I would be suitable for learning at their school. They will let us know by Friday, so we can wait and see.

Trips to London - EXCITING!

It has been a very, very exciting week with one trip to London last week (Down Town), and maybe up to 3 visits this week.

I'm definitely going on Saturday as mum is taking me to see Midsummer's Night Dream with David Walliams as Bottom the donkey! It will be so good to see a play. I'm very excited :-)

Top Hat - Robin Hood

I'm now back to Top Hat Stage School and we are rehearsing for our Christmas show, Robin Hood.

I have been given the role of the "Stylist of Guy", with at least 7 lines - so not bad considering.

I've grown out of another pair of Jazz shoes!

Saturday 21Sep

Drove to St Albans & met Tom who walked us to a clearing in a wood where everyone else was. There were three boys and another girl and their dads. I have since learned that the boy behind me is Fin Banks!

We were children in a dream & we had to wear pajamas. Lily-Mae Hebbes & I had the same ones!

I liked playing the scene where we all laid down dead. Dad was with me this time and he got to sit and read his book.

It was good fun and mum picked us up and took us to Harvester after.

Sunday 22 Sept

Got up early and mum drove to Corby. It took a hour.  We met the crew and Lily and her family and walked to a wood where there was a "swamp", we were only here a little while before we headed off to Leicestershire in a lovely wood called Wakerley and Rowntree Wood. This is where we did our fun acting and got to pull on a rope that Anna held onto, we had good fun.

I met actress Eaoife Forward who was really pretty and who tweeted me with "Tia an absolute star in making...!!"

I don't think I will be allowed to see the film when it is finished as it is a horror and will be an 18. But we just had fun in the woods on a really lovely sunny day :-)
