Gloomsbury Manor Drama Performance

At my stage school on Saturday's, we have been working really hard on a play called Gloomsbury Manor and also for our showcase performance of Legends of Pop.

Our play is going to be shown to parents on Saturday 29th June and I'm really pleased now, because my mum has changed her theatre tickets and can come and see our show!

The Legends of Pop performance at the Gordon Craig Theatre is going to be awesome!

Les Miserables Workshop - Jo Loxton

We were up early today to travel to my agency, Mad Fish, in Bexhill-on-Sea.

I had been really excited to be going back, to see all the other fishes and to have fun in a workshop by Sam Hiller on Les Miserables

But! He had broken his toe and so we had a lovely lady called Jo Loxton teach us two of the shows songs, Can You Hear the People Sing and  End of the Day.

I knew the songs already but it was really nice to be singing them with some really awesome people like Emily who has been in Shrek and Sam who has been in Oliver and loads of others including Amy, Olivia, Kitty. The Fishes are really nice people and can sing so well! I was very lucky to be able to perform these songs with these guys.

A huge thank you to mum and dad for driving me there, and to Emma and Sarah for holding the workshop and to Jo for teaching us :-)

Here's a little video of End of The Day... mum loves my (early!) dramatic dive

Extra in short film - Archie

I was an extra in a short film called Archie yesterday.

It is about an autistic boy that is really good at the violin. I was supposed to be an extra with other children and be in a playground scene, but when mum & I went there, they had filmed that scene on Friday, so I was in a different scene, with all the adults.

We had to be the audience at a music show with a real orchestra.

I had a really good time as I played with the boy that is Archie, his name was James. It is good to see how films are made, they seem to take a long time and everyone has to sit around alot.

But we got some really good snacks and I was only there in the morning. I will be excited to see the film when it comes out.
